1. Select the correct branch
If you manage several locations, check which branch is selected in the panel. Distinguish branch-specific prices from shared product information and edit only the price you intend to change.
Review the current price and any size or portion options first. A correct base price does not necessarily mean every option price is also correct.
2. Edit the draft price
Update the product's price field and confirm it was saved. When changing several products, check the scope and selected branch before applying bulk price tools.
If saving reports a connection problem or a conflict with another session, resolve it before publishing. Make sure the price shown on screen was actually saved to the server.
3. Preview and publish as separate steps
Check the product name, price, currency and options in the preview. For multilingual menus, confirm that the price remains in the real menu's currency; selecting a language does not convert currencies.
When the edits are ready, publish the relevant branch's menu. Saving a draft alone does not change the guest-facing version. Let your service team know when the new price takes effect.
4. Check using the printed code
Scan the printed QR code on your phone and reopen the menu. If a tab was already open, refresh it. Review the updated product and its options.
- Does the code open the intended branch's menu?
- Are the new price and correct currency displayed?
- Are size and portion prices consistent?
- Have other products kept the prices you intended?
When would you need a new code?
Product, price and design changes published at the same menu address do not require a new code. Switching services, closing the old menu address or using a different table's code changes the destination instead.
Separate an update to content from a change of address. Before reprinting, check where your existing code points and whether that destination still works.
Common questions
I saved the price but guests still see the old one. What should I check?
Check the selected branch, confirm saving succeeded and make sure you published after editing. Then reopen or refresh the guest menu.
Do I enter a price again for each language?
Language options change the presentation of product text. The real menu's price and currency do not automatically change with language selection.
