Categories that are easy to browse on a phone
Create groups guests recognise, such as coffee, cold drinks, breakfast and desserts. Short product names and clear descriptions help people understand the differences between products.
Use photos of what you actually serve. If a product has size or portion options, add them as product options and check in the preview which price belongs to each choice.
Keep today's selection current
When the last croissant sells, you can change the product's visibility. When a seasonal drink arrives, prepare its photo, description and price in the draft, then publish when it is ready.
A price change does not require a new printed QR label. The label still points to the same menu address. After publishing, reopen that address to check the price your guests will see.
Match the menu to your café
Adjust your logo, colours and menu design to fit your café's identity. Check more than the desktop preview: use your own phone to review long product names, category navigation and prices.
You can explore Quarmenu's interactive sample menu without creating an account. Mola Coffee and the sample prices are demonstration content, not a customer testimonial.
Plan counter and table use
At the counter, a general QR code can simply open the menu. Table-specific codes connect waiter calls and bill requests to the right table. Your team can follow those requests on a shared service device.
- Scan a test print at the size you plan to use.
- Check that different phones can read it in your café's lighting.
- Add a short instruction such as “Scan to view the menu.”
Common questions
Can I use my Excel product list?
Yes. Import Excel or CSV, match the columns and review products in the draft. The menu becomes visible to guests when you publish it.
Does the menu work without internet?
An internet connection is needed to open the menu and retrieve current content. Plan connectivity for your guests and an alternative way to access the menu when needed.
